Jennifer Dagsvik
Jennifer Dagsvik has been an immigration and refugee lawyer since 2007. Before becoming the Clinic’s director, Jennifer worked in private practice serving migrants and refugees in Thunder Bay, and before that she represented the Government of Canada in immigration and refugee cases at Federal Court. Jennifer also teaches the immigration and refugee law course at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law.

Bridget Postuma

J. Bianca Espinoza
Bianca is a second-year student in the Social Justice Masters program at Lakehead University. She comes from a diverse background, culturally and through professional experience. She has over ten years of experience in social services, specifically in assisting DV survivors, undocumented minors and advocating minors and advocating for people in such situations. She is a newcomer to Canada, which has greatly influenced her decision to complete a practicum at the Newcomer Legal Clinic. It is her passion to assist those who need support and strives to provide as much as possible. She is excited to be a part of this Thunder Bay community and be a positive addition to the community.

Mina Eskaroos
Mina is currently in his third year at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law. Mina brings a unique perspective to the Newcomer Legal Clinic. Inspired by his parents' immigration journey from Egypt to Canada, he is driven to provide vital immigration assistance to newcomers.
With a vision to apply his knowledge back in his hometown of Ajax, ON, Mina aspires to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals seeking a brighter future.
